Tracking rhino poachers

We trained a litter of foxhound x bluetick puppies to track (took us 20 minutes each - see 'Train your dog to track in 20 minutes' in the books page).

At young ages 2 of them had the opportunity to track and catch rhino poachers, farm murderers, other criminals, and find wounded animals. One even identified a thief in a line-up!

The photo of Jimmy was taken by a national newspaper after he led to the arrest of rhino poachers and the retrieval of the horn (he was 8 mths old).

He later helped prevent two rhinos from being poached.

We have Jimmy's litter mates and younger brothers and sister still available to join the war against crime!

These hounds are the best breed that we have seen so far for tracking in our extreme heat. They have miraculous stamina.
